iClicker is a student engagement system that uses active learning techniques to increase classroom engagement. It provides low-stakes, low-stress interaction between students and the content, providing instructors with in-the-moment learning data. This resource explains how to add your course to iClicker.
Creating a Course
- First, you must log in to iClicker at instructor.iclicker.com.
- Note: You must create an instructor account before you can create a new course.
- From the Courses homepage, click the “Create new course” button.
- Choose a “Course type” by selecting “Full course” or “Attendance only.”
- Under “Course information,” select “Arizona State University” from the “Institution” dropdown, and fill in the fields for “Course discipline,” “Course name,” “Start Date,” and “End date.”
- Select the “Enrollment” option so students can join the course. Select one of the following:
- Students can search for and self-enroll in this course.
- Students must be invited to this course.
- It may be helpful to fill in the optional fields on this page: “Course ID,” “Term,” and “Meeting times.”
- Click “Create” in the upper right corner to add this course to your Active Courses.
